Ms. Judah, the new Hopkins Academy art teacher, has presented the idea for painting murals on the cafeteria walls sometime this year. The project will be put together and worked on by Hopkins art students, but any student is welcome to input ideas.
The murals’ specific content has not yet been decided and all ideas are welcome. Most likely the murals depict overall student life from the establishment of Hopkins Academy to present day. The people depicted will most likely be in the form of silhouettes. The project will probably be yearlong requiring much hard work.
There has been a lot of enthusiasm among the art students so far, and murals seem to be becoming a popular idea. One art class has been toying with the idea of painting a timeline on Mr. Goodhue’s history room wall.
