Mrs. Menko’s second period home economics class gives off smells of deliciousness throughout the school. From the gym to Mrs. Preston’s room, the smokey aroma of bacon teases Hopkins’ students with reminders of breakfast. Myself and two other highly respected food tasters went to the source to report on the situation. Jamie Garand (2011), one of the experts, had this to say about the food: “The aroma is invigorating and draws you to the source, but the smell cannot compare to the wonderful taste”. The splendid food was cooked by Louis Hasbrouck (2012). Alongside the bacon, was chicken, which was wrapped in bacon. Finally, the main course was topped off by snickerdoodles (which were visually pleasing due to the cinnamon sprinkles) and a smoothie. Overall, the group of three judges rated the entire meal an average score of 8 out of 10.
