It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around Hopkins Academy. The season of giving is here, and to jump-start the holidays, Hopkins will be giving back to the community through the Twelve Days of Giving. The Twelve Days of Giving is organized by the Student Council and will be going on from December 1st through the 16th. Students can bring in anything from non-perishable food items to clothing and winter garments, like mittens, coats, and boots. Each day, those who bring in items to give will have the opportunity to win a gift card.
Many who are in poverty or are homeless don’t have the money to purchase warm winter clothing or food. The items will help those who are less fortunate than us survive through the cold winter months by keeping them warms and filling their stomachs with food.
Hopkins students who have not yet given items, please donate warm winter clothing and outerwear as well as non-perishable food items. To donate, turn your items in during homeroom!
