Good News For Coffee Drinkers

Teenagers and Adults in today’s world lead busy lives with little time for sleep. Caffeine consumption has become a daily necessity; coffee being the most popular form of a caffeinated drink with tea coming in second. Rumor has it that coffee is bad for you, but new scientific studies regarding the drink have recently come out and it looks like coffee may be better for us than we think. Bucket List

These next 365 (and one-quarter) days after December 31st are our last days to live. According to the Mayan calendar, the year 2012 marks the end of the world as we know it. The world is going to explode, the apocalypse will come and everything will be gone. So during the last days we have on earth, I ask you this, what are some things that you would like to do before you die? I made a list of things to do before the world ends:

  1. Travel to another continent (In progress)
  2. Go from coast to coast with close friends by car
  3. Learn to ski/snowboard
  4. Skydive
  5. Go snorkeling and to the coral reefs
  6. Throw the first pitch at a Red Sox game
  7. Fall in love (The search is on)
  8. Write a novel (In progress)

Meet the new students!

Recently, I interviewed all the new students who came to Hopkins Academy this year. Among these new students, there were eight middle school students, four freshmen, three sophomores, two juniors, and two seniors, which is a grand total of 19 new students. Not all the new students are new to Hadley, though. Some of our new students are returning to Hopkins. To make the new students feel welcome and to get to know them, I asked each of them a few simple questions in a mini interview.
